 OH
MY GOD!!
OH
MY GOD!!
My POOR Zander!!  When Cameron learns that Dobson is actually Alexis,
in what he perceives as a private moment, he gives her a kiss.  ZANDER sees
it and draws the conclusion that his father is gay!
Cameron isn't the only one with designs on Dobson.  When Alexis comes
to visit Kristina, Big Alice confides to her that she things Dobson is one fine
man and plans a nice dinner for them.
AJ takes it upon himself to wreck Courtney's wedding shower and earns a
verbal beating from Skye for his efforts.
Carly and Courtney have fun planning the wedding.
Ned and Skye kiss.
We see more of Mac as he tries to deal with Maxie and Georgie.
Constance Towers STILL hasn't been contacted about a return.  That
fuels the info I got that the  powers that be are waiting for the dust to
settle after Stefan's return, then BAM, a Helena return for the next sweeps.

Also, on Banana TV, host Sammy has moved on and Lea Riley (L) has taken
her place.  Sue is still on the couch!  Her is some bio info on the
"Daytime Dolls" hosts:
Lea Riley –
Having tread the boards since she
was 13, lea is no stranger to the world of drama and intrigue,  which makes
Daytime Dolls the perfect show for her. Lea has performed in many styles of
theatre from Shakespeare to childrens pantomime to the Stephen Sondheim review
‘No One is Alone’.
Shuffling her talents across to
presenting, Lea spent over three years as part of the presenting team for TVSN,
Australia’s TV shopping network, where she first met her Daytime dolls co host
Sue.
Favourite
Soap –   Days Of Our Lives
Sue Moses –

Working in radio and television since the 80's, Sue was the first female to host
a shift in her own right on FM rock radio in Australia, at Triple M Sydney, the
countries biggest rock station.  During this time, Sue also hosted the
music video show, "Nightshift" on Network Ten.  As a traffic reporter on
breakfast radio, Sue survived an engine failure at 1500 feet!  Just like
Amber in Bold and the Beautiful (her favourite soap), Sue has worked as a
presenter on TVSN Australia's TV shopping network.  Sue retired (kind of),
in early 2002 due to pregnancy and had a son, Enzo, safely in October of 2002.
However, when approached by BananaTV to co-host Daytime Dolls, Sue just couldn't
say no...

GH
Ahhh, what true beauty!  For decades, folks have wondered about her
"cat that ate the canary" smile and speculated about the motivation for that sly
grin.  My vote is that she found out she was right in the face of
adversity.  You'll know when it hits.  I'll accept the appropriately
contrite and humble letters of apology when the time comes.  I've spoken my
peace and counted to three.
When Emily has a tough go of the cancer story, look for the original
(dead) Paige, Riley Steiner, to make an angelic appearance to encourage her
daughter on to life.  This should happen on May 23.
Did anyone recognize Lacey Beeman who played Shannon on today's GH
episode?  She was Amy's "blink and you missed her" friend in "America Pie
2."  For a minute there, I thought we'd accidentally inherited Shannon from
OLTL (yikes).
And since we talk so much about GH on an ongoing basis, beyond this, I'm
going to focus on the other soaps for a bit.
AMC
Big explosions coming as the yacht goes kaboom with Aidan on board.
No word yet on his status.
Edmund and Maria are going to have a LOT to talk about.
Jackson is actually the one to kind of plead Lena's case to Bianca.
David agrees to Leora's surgery, but the news they get isn't good.
Jake shows up on town again on June 9th for a short stay.  He has a
woman named Carolyn tagging along, played by Amanda Hall Rogers
Look for his first appearance to be on June 9. Jake's
return to Pine Valley means more airtime for his TV mom, Lee Meriweather (Ruth).
She'll be on for several shows around the same time. But just who is Carolyn?
The woman that returns with Jake? We'll find out on June 9 when Amanda Hall Rogers debuts
in this role.  She recently played Amy in "The Guru."
OLTL
The big news to hit this week was rumor of three OLTL folks being let go.
Nathan Purdee being busted down to recurring is one of them (more on THAT in a
second), Ty Treadway we already knew about and Roscoe Borne (by way of Mitch's
death) is also said to be on the way out (sadly).
There are rumors of Sheri Saum's stay not being for long in order to make
room for Antonio and Jessica to get dey phreak on.  If ONLY Liz were coming
back.  *sniff*
Still hearing of a love interest for RJ.
Flash is definitely Sarah Roberts and no, the writers aren't really bunged
up over her Valentine's Day fantasy about Joey.
Kevin is on his way back and he's new and he's gorgeous.
Rex and Jen's Vegas wedding is just for show.  That doesn't mean it
won't be around for a while, but mostly, she's trying to get Joey's attention.
Walker will be around for a while and will be after his cut of Mitch's
assets.
Marcie and Al are going to be THE romance of the summer and we are going
to get some of Marcie's back story as this happens.  Everyone is pleased by
the positive audience reception of our buxom romantic lead (they love Marcie
too!).
You may have heard about it, but did you see it??  It's very rare
that Eye on Soaps gets into the private life of the actors at all and we
actually take great pains to keep the news directly related to the show itself.
A few weeks ago, work eased out that Shannelle Workman (Flash), Amber Ryan
(ex-Emily) and Teddy Sears (ex-Chad) posed for a series of pictures called
"Beautiful Murders" and the photographer was none other than Nathan Purdee
(Hank).
The pictures were dark and provocative, to say the least (no real nekkies).
I only have a few of them.  If you're interested,
OLTL honchos came out in support of Purdee after the minor uproar, but now
we hear that he's been reduced to recurring.  I mean, how CAN they use him
less than they already do?  On OLTL, "recurring" might well be called
"retired."  Hmmmm.
Misc
Brian Gaskill is going to have an interesting
event the weekend of the GH Fan Event in Studio City.
out more about it.
Lastly, be sure and go over to check out the new look at Soaptown
USA.
See you soon!

Darling, I mean to tell you...
I have absolutely no use for these award shows and feel it only fuels the
fire of dissention amongst the viewers.  Already, the Sonny and Carly
people have having a total fit because MB and Vanessa Marcil each pulled a win
and what can we say about GH taking home Best Writing honors except to scream
"Rigged!!!"
I *try* to find nice things to say about the Emmys each year, but it's quite
an effort.  I see the winners trying to squeeze a few quick thank yous in,
sounding like that guy in the Fed Ex commercials that talks a mile a minute
while the orchestral music swells up louder and louder, the modern day equal to
the vaudevillian hook that dragged the gonged acts off stage.  We thought
that was behind us when Dick Clark's claws were pried off the event, but sadly,
no.  I could have given them some suggestions on how to make time for these
people to talk (cutting out some of the horrid musical montage and the bitching
of the ladies from The View would have sufficed nicely), but my phone never rang
and they didn't bother to ask me.
You can get to my bitchy, "I hate these things" review by clicking on the
white button up under the date for the column.  I'll be around tonight with
my usual column.
Much love, Darlings,
