Bianca Montgomery

2000 to present

Daughter of famed Erica Kane and Travis Montgomery, Bianca was born in February of 1988 (although courtesy of SORAS, she is currently sixteen).  While still a babe in arms, Bianca was kidnapped by Steven Andrews in a scheme of Travis' to prevent Adam Chandler from stealing his company.  When Erica learned of the plot, she left Travis and took up with his brother, Jackson.

In 1990, Bianca developed Reyes Syndrome and was near death, leading Erica and Travis to reconcile during the ordeal.  Erica was still seeing Jack, though, and in 1991 Bianca saw her mother and her uncle kissing.  She set her "Uncle Jack" doll on fire, nearly burning down the house.  Travis' and Erica's marriage did go up in flames, though, and Travis left and sued for custody of Bianca.  When Jackson refused to lie on the stand about his relationship with Erica, Travis was awarded custody and relocated to  Seattle.

During a visit to Pine Valley, Bianca was nearly molested by Richard Fields, the man who had raped her mother years before.  She was rescued by Kendall Hart, her half-sister and product of that rape.

In 1994, her grandmother, Mona Kane, passed away.  During her stay in Pine Valley, Bianca was kidnapped by Dr. Jonathan Kinder, the doctor who'd gotten Erica hooked on pain meds.  Erica and Janet Green rescued her after Bianca pushed Kinder down a flight of steps, apparently killing him.

Three years later, Bianca ran away from Seattle to be with her mother, who'd been jailed for kidnapping Edmund and Maria's baby, Madeline.  Bianca fainted shortly thereafter, and was diagnosed with anorexia nervosa.  Erica was frantic to get out of jail, and Edmund spoke on her behalf, facilitating her release.  By early 1998, though, Bianca's condition was out of control and she  was hospitalized with a feeding tube to prevent her from starving herself to death.  She improved a bit after intensive therapy with her family, and was sent to a rehabilitation facility in New England.

Early in 2000, Bianca was released from the rehab center and returned to Seattle to live with her father Travis, his wife Barbara and their children, Molly and Sean.  Bianca's behavior left something to be desired, however, and since Erica was lonely and going through some hard times of her own, a visit with her mother in Pine Valley was arranged.  Erica and Bianca fought constantly about everything, particularly a party Erica insisted on throwing for her daughter. At the party, Jack received a phone call informing him that Travis had had a fatal stroke, and Bianca's world crumbled.  She is now trying to fit in at Pine Valley High, but she still has  Big Secret that Erica is desperate to learn.
