EYE ON SOAPS PROFILE

NAME:  Tracey

WHAT PRESIDENT WAS IN OFFICE THE YEAR YOU WERE BORN? Um, I don’t know.  Someone between Kennedy and Carter.  It was 1971, you tell me.

WHAT IS YOUR ASTRO SIGN? Optimistic Sagittarius

IN WHAT STATE DO YOU LIVE? Tennessee.  Southern born and Southern Bred, when I die, I’ll be Southern dead.

MARRIED?  Never!  I have a rule . . not until after my 30th birthday.  There’s still a year and a half on my timetable.

CHILDREN? None that I’m aware of.

FAVORITE TV SHOW WHEN YOU WERE A CHILD? Hardy Boys.  I still have a crush on Shawn Cassidy.

WHAT DO YOU WATCH PRIME TIME?  X-Files, The Practice, The Pretender, The Sopranos, Sex & The City, Friends, West Wing.

LAST BOOK YOU READ?  Conscious Dreaming by Moss and The Brethren by John Grisham.

FAVORITE ALBUM?  (AS IN CD, RECORD ALBUM, 8 TRACK, WHATEVER TO YOU CONSTITUTES A COLLECTIONS OF MUSIC ON ONE MEDIUM)  I could never name just one.  I love all sorts of music from Kurth and Taylor to Aerosmith to Pavarotti to Harry Connick, Jr.   I hate all rap and that gothic stuff like Manson.

FAVORITE NON-SOAP HOBBY?  Anything requiring a swimsuit, even if it just means falling asleep on my float in the pool.  I love to sail, though I don’t get to do it often.  I’m about to start a class to get my scuba diving certification.

WHAT SOAPS DO YOU WATCH AND FOR HOW MANY YEARS HAVE YOU WATCHED EACH ONE?  WHAT GOT YOU STARTED?
DAYS:  Since birth.  Everyone in my family watches from my Great-Grandmother on down the line.

GH:  I was at my best friend’s house the week that L&L got married and I’ve been hooked ever since.

AMC:  I’ve seen bits and pieces throughout my life, but I became hooked in college with the romance of Erica and MyDimitri.

FAVORITE MALE CHARACTER FROM AMC, GH, OLTL (PAST OR CURRENT – ALL SOAPS THAT APPLY)?
GH:  Luke, Ned, Stefan, not necessarily in that order.

DAYS: Bo…I was 12 when Peter Reckell appeared and well, he was a 12 year-olds dream in those days, Harley and all.

AMC:  Dimitri.  A dashing, romantic Count . . .what’s not to love?

OLTL:  I’m not a fan of this show yet, I’ve only seen a couple of episodes since I started getting SoapNet in May, but I’d have to say that Ben is my favorite character so far because of the way he treats Vicki.

FAVORITE FEMALE CHARACTER, SAME?
GH:  Alexis and Helena

DAYS:  Hope, because Bo loves her.

AMC:  Erica, it’s all about Erica, it’s her world and we are granted the privilege to live in it.

OLTL: Nora.  She’s not taking anything from Colin despite the fact that he holds all the cards.

FAVORITE STORYLINE FROM EACH SHOW YOU WATCH (PAST OR PRESENT)?
GH:  L&L, anytime, anywhere!  Also, the WSB v. DVX days.  Sean, Robert and Anna were fantastic!

DAYS:  Bo & Hope’s romance.  Oak Alley, ‘nuff said.

AMC:  Dimitri and Erica’s romance and multiple attempts at marriage.  I loved her drug addiction story.  Dr. Kinder was evil!

LEAST FAVORITE MALE CHARACTER FROM EACH?
GH: Currently Juan.  He’s unnecessary and brings Amber down.

DAYS:  Stefano, he’s become a cartoon. I keep waiting on him to drop an anvil on somebody’s head.  He’s just not interesting anymore.

AMC:  Scott.  Boring.

LEAST FAVORITE FEMALE CHARACTER FROM EACH?
GH:  Chloe or Hannah.  Both are boring and irrelevant characters.  If you lift either of them off of the canvas, none of the stories would be effected.

AMC:  Becca.  Please!  Must we suffer through another ABC After School Special about the evils of sex.

DAYS:  Lexi or Nicole.  I’ve never liked either of them.

LEAST FAVORITE STORYLINE FROM EACH?
GH:  Mixed Marrieds.  Started out interesting, but became the Jax & Chloe story when the better actors with more potential storyline were left propping up these two characters.

DAYS:  Eric’s sudden decision to leave Salem.  It was lame to have Isabella appear to Eric rather than to her OWN son.

AMC:  VirginVictor.com, because it is centered on Becca.
