WHAT SOAPS DO YOU WATCH AND FOR HOW MANY YEARS HAVE YOU WATCHED EACH ONE?  WHAT GOT YOU STARTED?

I watch General Hospital and previously watched One Life to Live & Port Charles. I just read about All My Children on the web. I have been watching GH and OLTL off and on for 8 years. I was in Junior High when I started, so I could only watch it when I was home sick or heard the details from my friends who taped it. My parents are strictly religious, and didn't allow me to tape any Soaps. However, once I graduated and got my own place (and VCR), I started watching every day!  hee hee.

To be honest, the opening credits (where you see those blue eyes that smile, cry, etc.) & beautiful music got me hooked on OLTL. When they changed it to that silly street scene and new music, I started to lose interest. Storyline-wise: I got hooked on the Ned/Lois/Katherine Bigamy Story for GH, and The Cord loses his memory and Tina has to pretend to be married to him storyline for OLTL. I also started watching PC when it came out to see if I liked it or not.

***I decided I only had time in my life for 1 soap opera, so now I am strictly a GH watcher, although I do read about the other soaps online.***

LEAST FAVORITE STORYLINE FROM EACH?

GH: I did NOT like the Luke & Felicia pairing, Felicia with Faison, didn't like Katherine in any storyline, especially when Katherine was shot by Stefan but falls love with him. I thought the Laura/Stefan pairing was just twisted. I love both characters, but it just didn't sit well with my tummy.
OLTL: That whole Barbara thing, uck! Tea's exit, Lindsey & Bo's "wedding," any Viki/Ben makeout scene, PC: Allison & Jamal story, the ESP/Psychic storyline with Kevin, his dad, and Eve. 
AMC: the Hayley/Mateo breakup.
