Eric made nice with the property managers, both he and Eric apologized and they seem prepared to give us a good report.  Rent is all paid and if things are as they seem, there's no harm, no foul.

I need a break from my kids like nobody's business.  They've been particularly "busy" lately and omnipresent.  Eric is treating me to a day long date tomorrow and I'm eager to spend the day hanging out with my hubby, having a last tour of Sacramento before I leave it in favor of the boondocks.

I did notice that the new school has spring break the week after we move up there, so the kids will have some time to acclimate and enjoy the new surroundings.

Nathan has definitely vetoed pre-school.  He cries whenever we try to take him and pfft, with all the changes he has on his plate, we're keeping him close to home.  I miss the quiet times (I only got a few days, really), but at least I got a taste of how kindergarten will be for me in the fall.  =)  At the new house, he'll have a swing set, plenty of running and biking room and that should keep him occupied while the other kids are in school.

Eric is home, so it's time to begin the weekend.  I hope all of you have an absolutely STELLAR weekend!  I'll be thinking of you!
