Before plunging into uncertainty of acting, Nolan North (Chris) made sure to get an education.  His degree in journalism has been put to good use twice - once as a New Jersey television news reporter and recently as guest host on SoapNet's SoapCenter.

Frank as Victor's chauffeur?  Not in the reel world but once upon a time Jay Pickett (Frank) drove the Super Shuttle in California and he picked up Nicholas Pryor (Victor).  The seasoned actor was nice enough to give a young Jay some advice.

Fans who were under the impression that Julie Pinson (Eve) got hitched and sent her wedding gifts will be sad to hear that it is not true.  Pinson is still a swinging single.

Nowadays Thorsten Kaye (Ian) sends hearts racing but as a teen in London, he broke records in track and field.

Some faces just keep popping up in the town of Port Charles.  Rhonda Wexler was not Denise Galik-Furey's first role.  She played mobster Victor Jerome's girlfriend, Cindy, in 1987.  Five years later the role of Rhonda was hers.  This same phenomenon has been seen on AMC with Walt Willey (Jackson Montgomery) and on GH again with Leigh J. McCloskey (ex-Damian Smith).

Petite Kelly Monaco (Livvie) had to stand on boxes during scenes opposite David Hasselhoff while starring on BAYWATCH.

 
If you have seen the new movie Traffic, you may have spotted PC's own Detective Alex Garcia a.k.a. Eddie Velez.  His role in the film was not a stretch - he played Agent Johnson from the Drug Enforcement Agency.  Traffic also features former GH actress, Rena Sofer (Lois).
 
Denise Galik-Furey is connected to three out of four ABC soaps.  She has appeared on both GH and PC as Rhonda Wexler, Karen's mother, and is married to actor John Furey, who played madman Lee on AMC.
 
January 2nd is a crowded day for birthdays on GH and PC.  Three cast members hear Happy Birthday that day - Anna Lee (Lila - GH), Ron Hale (Mike - GH/PC), and Kiko Ellsworth (Jamal - PC).
 
As Brian Presley (Jack) will tell you, he was fated to have the nickname "Elvis".  Aside from the surname, Brian was born thirty minutes before The King was buried on August 18, 1977. 

You would not be able to tell with the job that PC's hair people do but Alex Mendoza (Joe) must have hat-hair often.  He is a hat collector.

 
There was no TV in Sarah Aldrich's (Courtney) house growing up.  Dad forced his kids to seek stimulation elsewhere by locking the TV.  As a result, Sarah dabbled in the violin, flute, and accordion.
 
"How to do it all" by Brian Presley (Jack).  He played football, baseball, and basketball, acted in musical theatre and sang in the choir during his high school days. 
 
Thank goodness her day job pays well.  Marie Wilson (Karen) loves duds from Armani and Ralph Lauren.
 
If the wife of Steve Douglas on the TV series My Three Sons looks familiar, that is because she was played by Beverly Garland (Estelle).
 
For Christmas, Jay Pickett (Frank), his wife Elena, and their daughters Maegan and Michaela, always drive home to Idaho and Oregon to see both sides of the family.  No Los Angeles Christmas for them.

Be still women's hearts everywhere!  Kiko Ellsworth (Jamal) has a shoe fetish.  His collection stands at about 50 boots and shoes...for now.
 
Know the capital city of Vermont?  Ask Carly Schroeder (Serena) - she's a geography buff.

If you're able to peal your eyes away from Tom Cruise's buttocks in Risky Business, you'll catch Nicholas Pryor (Victor) as his dad.

As a child, Ron Hale (Mike) aspired to be a cowboy or Tarzan but by the end of his teen years he had chosen his true
destiny - being an actor.

 Legendary actor Eddie Albert played Edward Q pal Jack Boland in 1993 on GH and his son Edward Albert would go on to play Dr. Bennett Devlin on PC in 1997.

Not only did PC/GH casting director Mark Teschner choose Lisa Lord for the role of nurse Grace Sullivan, he chose her for his wife too! Mark and Lisa eloped secretly in June of 1998 - too bad Lisa's character was killed off of PC as part of the General Homicide story line that same year.

Louise Sorel (ex-Donatella Stewart) once called GH's John Ingle (Edward) "teacher" during her high school years.

Before landing her current gig as lawyer Alexis Davis on GH, Nancy Lee Grahn read for the role of Dr. Ellen Burgess. The role went to Debbi Morgan, an actress with whom Nancy is very familiar. They both took home the 1989 Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress, Nancy for her Santa Barbara role of Julia Wainwright and Debbi for her All My Children role of Angie Hubbard.

~ Thorsten Kaye (Ian) wrote a book of poetry with Dorothy Bridges, the wife of the late Lloyd Bridges, entitled "From Timber Ridge to Daymer Gardens". It can also be found on CD

~ Kiko Ellsworth (Jamal) and his roommate have an interesting sense of competition – they try to best one another for worst dressed.

~ Lynn Herring (Lucy) was crowned Miss Virginia in 1977 and was a runner-up in the 1978 Miss USA pageant.

~ Jay Pickett (Frank) is a self-confessed neat freak. According to him, he’s always been that way.

~ Beverly Garland (Estelle) owns a 258-room hotel in North Hollywood, CA, which was built by her husband, Filmore Crank, in 1972. It is now called Beverly Garland's Holiday Inn. Beverly’s daughter Carrington Garland was one of three actresses to play Kelly Capwell on Santa Barbara, opposite AMC’s Marcy Walker (Eden Capwell, now Liza) and GH’s A Martinez (Cruz Castillo, now Roy).

~ Jon Lindstrom (Kevin) used to be in a band called "The High Lonesome" and they released one album entitled Feel Free To Do So. He and his wife, Y&R’s Eileen Davidson (Ashley), are mentors to a young teenaged boy.

~ Julie Pinson (Eve) collects Barbie dolls, among other things.

~ Kimberlin Brown (Rachel) fractured her hip at the age of 22 during a modeling gig. She now has the hip of an elderly person. An interest in architecture led Kimberlin to design her last home, in Las Vegas. If she were not acting, she would be an architect like her hubby Gary.

~ Marie Wilson’s (Karen) husband Michael was nominated for a 2000 Primetime Emmy for his work on ABC’s Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher.

~ Kin Shriner (Scotty) christened his houseboat "Serena", after his on screen daughter.

~ Kin Shriner (Scotty) and Jon Lindstrom (Kevin) appeared together pre-PC on a series called Rituals, which also starred Mary Beth Evans (ex-Katherine, GH). GH fans will remember that Scott almost married Katherine, who turned out to be Dominique’s half sister.

~ The character of Rex Stanton was played by Lynn Herring’s (Lucy) husband, Wayne Northrop.

~ Nicholas Pryor (Victor) appeared opposite his wife Christina Belford when they played romantic interests on Beverly Hills, 90210 (he Chancellor Arnold and she Samantha Sanders).

~ Like his character, Jay Pickett (Frank) used to substitute teach on occasion.
