DAVID FUMERO   CRISTIAN VEGA 1998 - PRESENT

David Fumero plays Carlotta Vega’s youngest son, Cristian, who struggles to find success as an artist.  He is a bright, strong and talented Latino, who adores his mother.   Since he was a little boy, he has considered himself her protector, especially after his father died, and his brother, Antonio, went to prison.   Cristian’s dream is to become a successful artist.   In 1995, he proudly displayed his artistic talent when he designed the angel statue that stands in the revitalized Angel Square.  Recently his main goal has been to recapture the happiness he once shared with the love of his life, Jessica Buchanan. 

David was born Joseph A. Sentielo-Fumero, on December 29, 1972, in Havana, Cuba, but was raised in Miami, Florida.  He has two older brothers, and one younger sister.    

David joined the U.S. Marine Corps and later traveled the world as a model, also studying at the International Actors Studio in Paris.  Music fans will remember him from the Mariah Carey video, Honey.
